A major tire manufacturer needed to fit a material handling conveyor into a close space, move the material (Carbon Black) from inlets and discharge it at two locations. In addition, the intermediate discharge had to be free of residual build-up, and the entire system dust free.
To accomplish this, HAPMAN provided a system using its totally enclosed and dust free series 4000 tubular drag conveyor with a self-cleaning (pneumatically controlled) discharge gate.
The conveyor fit into the designated space and accomplished the objectives of the manufacturer. Operation was able to be continuous without concern for dust.
